So again, sorry for not posting for so long, it has been crazy times up here! But it should be getting back to normal now that Christmas and New Years is over...
We just got back from our trip to Pine Valley yesterday and it was awesome. Pine Valley is a camp about 45 minutes outside of San Diego, and we went to help do some "grunt work". I was assigned to the painting crew, and we painted the outside of 8 dorms while we were there. The reason this trip was so amazing was not because we did a bunch of a amazing things, or went on cool adventures, but that I really got to spend quality time with people. I have never laughed so hard in my life, my cheeks actually got sore! I got to know some of the girls that I haven't thus far, and I deepened my relationships that have already been built. God really showed me this week so take advantage of each moment. Over the break it was really hard for me to want to come back to this program, I kept feeling a pressure and stress to move on and "start my life", as an adult. But God really showed me this week that this is my life, and He has blessed me tremendously, and that each of us should really look for His little daily blessings (such as laughter).
Well that is all for today, but I promise I will be blogging again soon! I miss all of you a lot, and am so thankful for each one of you God has places into my life!
